The Texas Carbon Active Valved Cat-Back Exhaust System combines an aggressive tone, premium materials, and independent valve control in a clean bolt-on package, so you can go loud when you want and keep it refined when you don't.
Built with full 3-inch mandrel-bent tubing, the system is offered in corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, with lightweight titanium available for owners who want an exotic finish and reduced weight. Each order is fully configurable, letting you select the material, tip style, tip size, tip layout, and mid-pipe design to match the look and sound you have in mind.
Valve control is fully self-contained and wireless, with no reliance on the factory active exhaust harness or valves. The system works on Mustangs with or without factory active exhaust, and the included remote lets you switch between a louder open-valve tone and a quieter closed-valve tone.
The exhaust installs as a true bolt-on cat-back and is compatible with aftermarket long-tube headers when paired with the proper adapters.

We build this way because real choice requires it. The options above combine into more than one hundred possible builds of this one system, and stocking every variation is not realistic.
That is why most valved cat-back systems in this market come in only a handful of fixed configurations and a single material, often at higher prices than ours. It is also why a valved titanium option is so hard to find.
Because each system is built by hand for the person who orders it, you decide how your Mustang looks and sounds rather than selecting from a preset lineup.

This exhaust is easily one of the best mods I have purchased for my car. When I first put it on, I honestly did not know what to expect because I could not find another valved Mustang GT exhaust anywhere near the same price. I figured there had to be a catch somewhere, but after more than a year, I have had ZERO issues with the exhaust or the valves.
The difference between having the valves open and closed was huge before I installed my catless long-tube headers. With them closed, the car was quiet enough for early-morning drives and long highway cruises without any annoying drone. Opening them made the car sound completely different. Cold starts also sounded amazing in both modes. After installing the headers, the car obviously became much louder, but having the ability to close the valves is still something I would never want to give up.
I went with the single X-pipe and stainless tips. The single X-pipe surprised me the most because of how smooth it sounds, especially at WOT. This is obviously personal preference, but I genuinely think my setup sounds better than the Corsa Extreme.
The fitment was great and the installation was extremely easy. The factory exhaust came off, and this one went back on without being any more difficult. I also get people asking me all the time what exhaust setup is on my car, which tells me I am not the only person who thinks it sounds good.
If I bought another Mustang tomorrow, I would purchase the same exhaust again. I have recommended it to my friends and followers, and I will continue recommending it. For the quality, sound, valves, and price, it has been worth every dollar.
Easily one of my favorite upgrades on my Camaro ZL1. The matte carbon fiber and Alcantara look great together, and the orange center stripe matches the car perfectly. The wheel feels thicker and more comfortable than stock, and the magnetic paddle shifters have a really satisfying click. It completely changed the interior without looking overdone. Definitely recommend Texas Carbon if you’re looking for a custom carbon fiber steering wheel for a 6th gen Camaro.
